Joomlart doesn't play nice with Joomla updater

Hi,
It is not possible to upgrade my Joomlart templates and extensions through Joomla Updater. For me, this is very annoying as I'm mainly using MyJoomla to manage my updates. Joomlart is not following Joomla conventions here and is really breaking my workflow.

Could you please elaborate on what is so much of an added value that it is worth breaking the compliance with Joomla standards? Is there a way for JA extensions to play nice with MyJoomla?

from some reason I missed this reply. Obviously I have tried the JA Extensions Manager. Thing is, this isn't easily integratable in a more advanced workflow (for example if you want to use MyJoomla to manage your updates)

Thanks for rising this up! One issue here is that the update feature also relates to the membership of users who want to update so at this moment, you can update via JA Extensions Manager component only.

I will also pass to the team for further discussion on this.

Did you already get feedback from the team on this item? Clearly other products offering paid subscriptions, succeed in using the Joomla Updater.
