Managin background

Hi, I'm trying to understand if T4 page builder would fit my need regarding JA page builder. My feeling is positive but I have a big concern regarding how to manage background.
When I set a background on the body layer inside T4 Page Builder it is replaced by the value of the T4 template. That could be OK if when inside the T4 Page Builder the preview really show the final output.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong or perhaps someone know how to fix it. If anyone know of to manage that please let me know.

You mean that the background image shows on live mode but not display in edit page?

You can share the credentials of your site and tell me where you put the background so I can take a look.
