S5 Flex Menu - Submenu Entry covers the > Arrow at the end

I am using Flex Menu with some submenus. When there is one or more submenu, then at the end of the line the sign > (arrow right) is added to show the next level. But now I have a menu text which is longer and covers the > sign. How can I size the submenu so the > sign is visible?
