Why must this work in this manner?
Can't it just work normally.
This is a bug please. It breaking how my website works.
How would one fix it? It should work as joomla does not this strange manner.

The article contains intro text and full text separate. Of there is no readmore button it will be treat as only type of text. To make the introduction text it's normal to add a readmore button.

Ninja I know what I'm saying. I've been doing this for a while now.
If I don't add the read more to the article, your template displays the content twice. This is not normal.

I have articles that I don't want readmore to be added to because of how those articles work. Adding readmore would break the way they work so I dont add readmore to those specific articles becasue I want them to display in full in the category blog.

The issue is with your template. And its a bug not a feature. Joomla works without issues and other templated too. please I need a fix for this.

Its not bug the articles has separate section to show the article into text
Open this file file "/html/com_content/article/default.php" in template "ja_artsy".
and remove this code
