When I go to the iJoomla website for Publisher and click on the submit media option, select image, then click on upload images from the front end, the explorer window opens up for me to browse my pc to select a photo to upload. When I try and do the same thing on my website using the super user account, nothing happens when I click the button. I've used my iPhone, iPad, Android, Google Chrome, Firefox, IE, Microsoft Edge, uninstalled the component, removed all tables in SQL, then reinstalled it and nothing. I honestly think it's a bug. I am using version 3.0.20 as well.

I just tried the audio button, tried adding a .mp3 to my site root folder and writing the path to the file and I entered a URL for audio on a webpage. I am confused. Is it asking for a URL for the website that the URL is on, or where it's located in my web folder? I also tried multiple variation to get the audio to work and nothing.

    Hi
It can be conflict on your site if its working on demo and not your site.
Kindly edit fields in first post and submit a temp super user login and a author login for staff.
Also if you can post a full screenshot of error it will help to check the issue faster.

    Regards

Ninja I also think it's the template. I will try another template since I uninstalled the default ones that come with the joomla installation and see if that fixes the issue. In regards to an error message, there isn't one. The button just doesn't do anything when I click it. I'll get back to you within 24 hours.

        Hi
You can check it with default Joomla template protostar if its working with that there can be a 3rd party extension or template issue.

It's definitely the JA Teline V. I tried another one, and it worked flawlessly.. Thank you. You can mark this as resolved.

Unless there is a way to resolve this using the JA Teline V template? All of my extensions are from Joomlart. I'm very wary of installing 3rd party extensions.

Absolutely. I am working on editing the moderatoor account for you to login and I will edit the 1st post, so that you have access to the backend. What do you need access to on the backend, so that I can make sure it's available. I know Publisher is one, but in the event you need to edit some code; just the template custom code area?

Thanks again for all of your assistance.

I edited the fields for backend access. Thank you so much for your help. I don't ever give "Super User" access, but you have Administrator privileges. I always give access to what moderators need to work on. If something changes, I will edit accordingly. Since it's only the Publisher Pro component, I gave you access to that and access to the template. The photo that I attached has the "upload image" button circled because there is no "action" when I click on it when the type is set to "Image/Image Gallery;" however, if I change the type to video or audio, there are no issues.

                  1. Hover over Video
                  2. Select Submit Video
                  3. Change type to image/image gallery
                  4. Click on upload image

                    Hi
Can you upgrade the permission to super user level i need to for debug, at the moment appear js conflict but not sure from template or any extension.

Sure. No problem. I have changed the account to Super User. Thanks for your patience and all the help. Also, is there a way to auto adjust the videos on the video page, so that they line up nicely like the top row?
I'm guessing not because some intro images or whatever you call it are larger than others for whatever reason.

                      Hi,
You can use this file. Override it to components/com_publisher/js/ajaxupload.js.
                      Remember to backup first.

                      ajaxupload.zip
                      7kB

Thank you Manhta and Pankaj for all of your help! JA is the best! It's working!!!! I'm soo excited. You can mark it as solved 🙂
