I updated (on local site) the template to 1.0.4 from 1.0.2 and updated T4 system plugin. Now the Contact Page does not work as before - the quick contact form is not displaying as an overlaid block (see attachment) all other settings for menu, default JA landscape tp, etc are the same.

Kindly check the Formate of the contact is set to Plain.
If issue remain same i need to debug the problem on your site. Edit fields option in the first post and submit a temp super user login for staff.
I will check and help you to fix it.

Thanks for responding. I have narrowed it down to a conflict with the System plugin for Simple Social Media Stream Notifications. I have sent a query to the developer and included the info from debugging with that plugin enabled. There are no problems when it is disabled.

Can you check it with default Joomla template protostar is it working with that?
If you can submit the site details its help me to check on your site.

That page looks as expected with the Protostar template. I will set up an admin login for you on the test site, but will just wait until the client has had a chance to approve the design (should be doing that sometime today)

No problem., whenever the site ready you put it online and submit super user login for staff in edit fields options.
