Extra Fields to appear on homepage

Extra fields are used to built for the Joomla Article only. If you have the Home page type single article menu it will show on that page.

I am using the default Home page that came with JA Alpha and it appears to be a single article menu item type:

But this does not show on the home page.

Is there something I am missing?

The site is not online and exists only on web server - so I won't be able to do this.

Its hard to assume which configurations you applied wrong as the fields will show on full article view normal.
Make sure the article category has extra fields selected : http://prntscr.com/10daxp0

You can see in below screenshot that Extra Fields was set to portfolio for the Others Category:

And in previous screenshots you can see the getting started article (linked to the home page) is part of the others category - yet none of the extra fields appear on home page front end even though the extra fields tab appears in getting started article.

Is it being overridden somewhere? Are you able to replicate this issue?

Kindly put the site online and submit the site login in edit fields options. without having a look its hard to assume the problem.

No on full articles page there is no issue found. You can check the same on the demo site here: Either you have wrong settings or some other issue on your site.

I don't see anything wrong with my settings. I think issue is related to the 'Getting Started' page which displays an error as soon as I go on it (see previous post). This page that comes with JA Alpha template and is assigned to Home menu item by default. I have not edited this at all except to get the Extra Fields tab to display (which it does - see previous post). I have noticed the Getting Started page does not display any of the content it has on the Home page:

Whereas for the https://ja-alpha.demo.joomlart.com/index.php/portfolio/invoicing/42-totams-our-aperiam-eaque-ipsa-quae-ab-illo-inventore page, it has content in the article displaying fine (as well as extra fields tab that is displaying content):

Would you recommend switching out the default getting started article for a new article or will this break things?

Okay, think I have got round extra fields issue by using the Client's module instead (as I just needed some stats to display). However, after doing this it messed up the formatting of the footer as ordering should be Extra Links, Latest Update and then contact details at the bottom, but instead it now shows as:

Can you confirm how to ensure ordering of these modules are correct? I seem to already have this setup correctly:
