I had been waiting for an updated news template, so this announcement caught my attention. I don't know if the built-in news formats will work for me, but it seems to have a lot of customizing capabilities. It all comes down to how easily I can make the needed changes.

If you decide to create an updated Teline template, then let me know quickly so I don't spend too much time adapting this one.

    Seems to me that you are trying to create a "swiss army knife" for templates.

    Let me know when you work on Teline V and produce an ongoing product. Mean while I am switching over to K2 for the time being.

    When will this Template be available? I have a new project that fits him like a glove.

    I was using JA_Good, but he has a problem with sharing articles, open graph tags do not work properly and visitors who share articles are left without the photos.

    This model resembles him a lot, but with a lot more customization options.

    May I know which builder are you referring to? If you meant our T4 Builder, yes, it can work well with JA Blockk template.

      without EasyBlog and K2 integration this template will lose clients for you. You should take in consideration that joomla websites made this days are not basic, more then 90% of new web developments are around components, and there are a few allready that are very used in the community ...

        We released the JA Blockk template and it is much easier to set up. Please check it from here https://www.joomlart.com/joomla/templates/ja-blockk
        The simple steps are:
        1. Create magazine menu page that loads content from a selected category in list, grid or mansory layout with multiple styles for article.
        2. Create JA Content Listing module to create sections that loads content from one or multiple categories.

          Thank you for your sharing and suggestions. I would like to give you more details about our plan for JA Blockk template.
          1. K2 Support: as you can see, Joomla content component is now much better, it supports extra fields and more.
          And for its limitations like author page, media, we have solutions in the template. There will be author pages coming in the next version and video, media content types will be supported at core.
          An other reason is that, using Joomla content component, it will be easier to upgrade when Joomla 4 stable released.
          2. EasyBlog support: we will check this, to support more 3rd party extensions, we will need to support the extensions on JA Content Listing module. This is in our plan but it will take time and effort 🙂 We will have updates for each version release.

              once you will take an effort to integrate more content sources from other components in JA modules you will be reworded with more new clients and satisfied already ja members . I bet for this !

              Yeah, I agree that, with the support for more extensions, the JA Content Listing module will become a very powerful extension for content listing.

              I agree. It is much better to support the core vs K2. K2 has not been updated much and its future seems to be in some question. It's safer to future-proof with core Joomla articles.

              The coming author component closes the gap.

                  Author page is on the way, it will be released in the next version of JA Blockk template, and it will be a feature of T4 Framework 🙂 kars

                      JA Blockk's new version with inbuilt author feature will be available next week kars 🙂
