JomSocial upgrade issue

Dear Support Team,
I would like to ask for your help, because I have issues with upgrading Jomsocial.
I followed the steps described on your webpage, so I upgraded step-by-step to subversions.
Now, the actual version is 4.3.5. When I tried to upgrade to 4.4 using installer, then it stuck, so I was not able to complete it.
Could you please let me know how could I complete the upgrade without loosing data?

In older version to new version to main change will be in the message as previous message system will be replace to Chat system and your message will not show instant as it will be new chat and previous message come later when cron job run each time.
Kindly use recommended system settings : https://documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/System_Requirements
Now start the update one by one and try 4.5 version.
If still there is issue, kindly edit fields in first post and submit temp super user login.

Do not try the migration on live site or without a full backup.

Thank you for your answer. I have tried to upgrade it to 4.4, because this is the next version, but it hangs.
Could you please try to do it?
I have created an admin account for you and provided the details in my first post (i hope it's not visible for other users). i have created a backup just 2 minutes ago

Please note that a new backup should be created before upgrading the PROD version.

Jomsocial 4.7.8 requires some libraries of Joomla 3.9, so kindly upgrade Joomla on your site first (remember to backup your first before updating)

Dear Manhta,

After upgrading Joomla to latest version I have installed Jomsocial 4.7.8.
I have a big issue with Messages function. After clicking on Messages it's hanging and showing a loading bar.

COuld you please let me know what should be fixed in order to solve the problem?

Yes, that's what i did at my end.
Remember backup before doing anything.
