WebP file support in "Image Show GK4" module

Hi there!
How should we show WebP image files in the module?
Webp image files are not appearing in the dialog box and if I write the path and filename manually it results a slide without image.

Could you test to load this image file type to default Joomla template like Protostar first and see how it goes?

It works in GK Photo template as tested it with K2 (but not needed in Joomla article yet)!
It seems that K2 works fine if we put a WebP path in the code of a K2 Item... BUT 😉 it is still impossible to add it as the image of an Item.saguaros

Hi palosutca It seems that K2 doesn't support to load webp image file for image of K2 item. You may post the same request into K2 forum for help there.

Hi saguaros,
I know that and mentioned it to Fotis (K2/JoomlaWorks admin) but the question is your (well, Gavick) module. Where would you modify it to accept the WebP files too? Right now I can use it in this GK Photo template as I simply put it in the K2 Item and it shows perfectly.

The slide is set as "Content type: TEXT" (not Joomla article nor K2 Item)
