Custom Module not working with Adsense

I followed your recomendation linked here https://docs.joomla.org/AdSense but the ads are not showing.
Do you have an idea if the menthod has changed or is there more to this? thnx.

If the module removing the ad script, kindly set the default editor to NONE from system > global configurations and then add the code and save.
If the code is correct it will show the ad. You can make a test with default Joomla template like prototar to see the code is working or not, if its working with default Joomla templates it also work on our template.

The ads work when I turn on the "Auto Ad" function on Adsense, which slaps ad across the entire site often at awkward locations/zone. But when I chose manual placement of the ads, they didn't show.

You have not shared the test result with default Joomla template. If its not working with default Joomla template kindly ask the hosting provider and check the ad code you are using.

Is this working with default Joomla templates?
As templates can not control the Google ads. It's directly from adsense.

Kindly check the page in private window. It maybe your browser extension. Without a site url it's hard for assume this issue.

I am not sure why you are not sharing the asked information about your module?
Which module you are using as i checked there are only Banner type module used on homepage and no error like in your screenshot. No Google ad code found http://prntscr.com/11ked2z
The doc link is from Joomla docs that only show how to add the code in the Joomla. Its not like it will show banner without adding a code.
Let me know the module ID that contains the ad code and not working with Teline V template and working with default Joomla template.
This way its easy to find that specific module 🙂

It seems you have not follow the steps.
The modules are empty.
Go to Site > Global Configuration and change the default WYSIWYG editor to 'editor – no editor'. If you don't change the default editor to no editor the WYSIWYG editor will change the JavaScript, even if you edit the HTML source.

Now add the code.

Also there is no issue found in template. Please check your google AdSense code and add it. It will work same for any template. If it's not working for protostar as well there is issue in your code and you have to check you adsense account.

Of course I removed the WYSIWYG editor before adding the code but I had to switch back the editor, right? which prevent you seeing the code after you reopen the file I guess or perhaps completely delete it.

Anyway, I tried it again but Ads still not showing even in private browser.
Also did you say the adAgency could have something to do with it? see the error on the screenshot of original post above

Please do a test of the module with default Joomla template protostar and check of the module showing. If not this issue is not from the template part. Kindly contact with AdSense account helpdesk.
About agency it's dedicated component. Here is guide to show google ads.

No matter what module you use if the code is not working there is nothing from template or module can do 🙂
it's faulty ad code.
