1. The height of the logo and header is max 52 px add this code in custom.css to increase it

.logo-image img {
    max-height: 90px;
}
@media  (min-width: 768px){
.t3-header {
    height: 90px;
}}

Add this code in custom.css file to change the color and width core value

.acm-features.style-5 .features-title .rw-words {
    color: #039be5;}

For 1 and 2, I tried creating the custom.css file because it is not available but discovered that I cannot input any content there even after opening it.

For 3 and 4, I see examples of what I need but how to configure it is not included.

kindly create it and add the code
For ACM Module you can add the sample date from doc http://prntscr.com/114kee1
Or Create a new module with type JA ACM > select style > Gallery > Select style 1,2 .. as per needs based on the examples you choose.
There is no additional settings for ACM. Once you create the module you will see the options to upload Gallery Images in the module.

This is what I get after creating the custom.css. I cannot open it and do not have access to the other files in the template. I think this is a blog. Kindly check

Kindly open the file from FTP, or you can try FF explorer extension.
It appears there is permission issue opening via templates.

Also, the template default colour has not changed from blue to green i.e #039BE5 to #00913D

The words part there is issue in the code you added , replace the ACM 5 code with below

.acm-features.style-5 .features-title .rw-words{color:#84C126!important;}

.acm-features.style-5 .features-title .rw-words .carousel-inner .item.active{min-width:250px;font-size:15px;}
