Article Sharing Options

How can one add more social platforms to the Article sharing options. Only 3 is available by default, need to add at least email....

I tried your suggestion for the mobile view as well but didn't work too. Can you check both pls.

This template uses AddThis to embed social sharing icons there, if you want to add more services, you can login into AddThis site and setup services as you wish.

And how to display it on the mobile view since sharing icons are currently not enabled on responsive view

After configuring in AddThis, you get the embedded code and add into the 'Custom Code' section in template, we provide detailed guideline here: https://www.joomlart.com/documentation/joomla-templates/ja-teline-v/how-to#article-tools please check it out.

In order to show it on responsive view, you can override with this custom css:

@media (max-width: 992px){
.article-full .article-tools .typo-tools, .article-full .article-tools .sharing-tools {
    display: block !important;
}
}

put into the file: /templates/ja_teline_v/css/custom.css (Create this file if it doesn't exist).

I swapped the AddThis embedded in the template's 'Custom Code' area with the new one from my new AddThis account but I do not see any social sharing button anymore 🙁

Is there any else to do? The other two steps in the doc [Global and Menu Item Levels] were already set as described.

app1cker Kindly check your settings in AddThis and generate a new code. I guess the problem from there only as you can see the old code works fine and it means that there is no issue with template.

Actually the old code stopped working a while back for reasons 'm not sure, hence the reason I opened this ticket.
You are however right about revisiting the Addthis code. Apparently there an additional code to place at the needed location of the article template. See screenshot from Addthis

Advice where to place the code:

            <div class="addthis_inline_share_toolbox"></div>

It's currently floating at the bottom of the page as you can see

Thnx@saguaros It now works.
The last problem is still making it show on mobile device. I overwrote the css file you mentioned but the social icon links are still not showing 🙁

app1cker I don't see the 'custom.css' file is loaded now.

Could you backup your site and try to turn off the 'Development Mode' in template >> general tab? so that your site will load CSS files instead of LESS files as now.
