recently had some registrations go to the waiting list, but they were sent to payment gateway . this started to happen after I upgraded to 4.2.8. for now I have disabled the waiting list. is there a option or step I need to take?

    For the full event, could you pls add the 'Paylater' payment option for it? so registrations can select to pay later.

      Thanks ,I just tried your suggestion . but it doesnt work well.
      I set a sold out event to a pay option "waitlist" and set the options to "paylater". when a pwait list person gets accepted it is not possible to have them payonline. I tried changing the records payment method but no luck. I must change both the record pay method to default and the event back to default for them to pay online but in the mean time others who add to the wait list end up registering-as -wait and being sent to the credit card default window.
      As it was prior. I would enable "waitlist" on the sold out event and new records were not charged. when I went in to offer the record a spot, all I needed to do was to change them from Waitlist to pending and a PAYNOW button showed up in their User Panel. is there a way to revert to this prior behavior

      My suggestion is that you can add 'Paylater' option for that FULL event so that when a new registrant registers for an event, he can select this option instead of paying directly when registering.

      Then he will be added in the 'Waiting' list that you can see in the 'Records'. Later, if someone cancels the registration for this event, you as admin can move these waiting lists and send them email for payment. Does this work the same on your site now?
