How to change category position

I would like to change category position,
I tried many time but I coudn't do it.
can you please help me with

note: as shown in pic I wanted to up and change position of selected category.

If I got it correctly, you want to switch position of categories in this JA ACM module, right?

By default, it will follow the order of these categories in backend: administrator/index.php?option=com_categories&view=categories so you can change there first.

I Don't really get the way you guide me:

My question was: I just wanted to "customize ordering" of categories in "ACM" module.

note; I remove all categories and select them again but when i save them, it show again the way it was before.

Unfortunately, there is no way to re-order the order in that 'Category Setting' in JA ACM module.

What I mean is that it will show in order of categories in Backend >> Articles >> Categories: yoursite/administrator/index.php?option=comcategories&view=categories

you mean it is not possible to move "Agriculture" category (which is now at the bottom) change to the top?

as shown in the pic I want to move the selected category to the top, that is it.

it is quite small problem, it should be possible.

I think the order of these categories are sorted by ID numbers, when I add new category it shows at the bottom of all others categories. so if we change category ID it might solve the problem.

I got your point that you want to change the order in this option in module but I'm afraid that at this moment, it will show categories by IDs like that.

So instead of changing the module, the solution for now is changing the order of categories in Articles >> Categories as I mentioned above.

'TOP STORIES' is JA ACM Category Listing module, it's showing in order: WORLD >> SPORT >> TECHNOLOGY

Now I go to Backend >> Articles >> Categories and change the order of SPORT and TECHNOLOGY categories:

On frontend, it changes the order correctly:
