Where do I find the file to change the name of "Enter Number of Registrants in your Group *"

It's a field name, you can access backend of your site >> Components >> DT Register >> Fields >> search for that field and change the text as you wish.

I did not mean any file, it's configuration in backend of your website
The text I need to change is part of the simple group registration.. It is not in the fields in the backend . At least not that I can find.

Need to change "enter number of registrants in your group" to "Number of sites needed (2 max)"
This is not in the fields section of the event, I am using the simple group registration form. Where is the simple group registration defined in the files? or how do I change this?
