How post script before closing body tag in T3v2 ?

I have old site JA University (t3v2) on Joomla 2.5

How i can add script before closing </body> tag?

Hi Igor,

I'm not sure if you have this file in template folder on your site at this moment or not:

/templates/ja_university/page/default.php

If not, you can copy the file in T3 core folder:

/plugins/system/jat3/jat3/base-themes/default/page/default.php

And paste into above directory in template, then open that file: /templates/ja_university/page/default.php and add the script as you wish.

Then clear all caches.

Can I use module (for example K2Tools) in "debug" position with script link before closed body tag?

truemaker I'm not sure which script you use, you can give it a try.

All work ok.
Module (with link script) in "debug" position is better way to fix it.
Because in other old site only /plugins/system/jat3/jat3/base-themes/default/page/default.php file.
And after upgrade T3v2 plugin /plugins/system/jat3/jat3/base-themes/default/page/default.php file rewrite and lost any custom code.

Module is better!

You can override that file in template by copying the file:

/plugins/system/jat3/jat3/base-themes/default/page/default.php

and paste into:

/templates/ja_university/page/default.php

The 'page' folder may not exist by default so you can create it.

Make your own changes in the file: /templates/ja_university/page/default.php and clear cache. Your changes in this override file will not be affected when updating new version of template or framework.

But the use of modules allows you to select the pages where to use the script and allows you to specify the start and end schedule by date and time.
And these settings for each individual module with each separate link to the script are configured in the administrative panel.
Using modules is a more flexible solution.
