How to migrate T3 site to T4

I have a question about T4, which looks amazing! I have a site I'm developing in T3 (Purity III). What is involved in migrating a site in T3 to T4? Do I just install T4 in the T3 site and switch templates to T4's blank template? Would the modules be carried over or are they specific to the template used? Thank you in advance for information about how this can be done and the issues I might encounter.

T3 Framework and T4 Framework are independent so there is no upgrade or migration.
In your case, you will need to create a new template with T4 Framework, or use any T4 templates then create layouts, update style. Since you have layout and style in T3 template already, it could save you sometime when re-build the site with T4 framework.
