Uber template t3 framework and php 8

When will the uber template and the t3 framework be compatbile with php 8.0? I tried upgrading and the admin side of the template nor the front side of the site work with PHP 8.

There is already planning for it. Due to release of new template it was in queue I sent a reminder for dev team for T3 and PHP 8 compatibility .

Ninja Hi, it is about 1 year later and the uber template stll does not seem to be compatible with php 8.0 and 8.1.x . PHP 7.4.x is reaching EOL by the end of november this year 2022. This is the only thing preventing me from upgrading my sites in joomla 3.x. I have nearly 50 sites on this template and joomla 3.x that need to be upgraded to php 8.x or higher.

It is related to the JA Megafilter module. when I disabled it everything works and the template loads but of course this module is required for it to work.

When will this be ready?

The team is working on the updates templates already, JA Uber is pretty big template in terms for many layouts and ACM module supported. I shared the feeedback to concern team on this for JA Uber update plan.

Ninja I am just surprised this hasnt been completed at this point. It has been an entire year since y'all said it would be updated. I am getting very concerned this isn't going to leave me enough time to update my sites. Any ETA on when this is going to happen?

There are large collection of template so it delayed. I checked with development team and it is in plan and will ve updated soon. Hopefully in next 2 weeks it will be under QA for final testing.

Ninja Hi, thank you for the response back. I noticed you said joomla 4. All my sites are still on Joomla 3. Is the new version going to work on joomla 3 that is going to be php 8.x compatible?

Yes, the new version of template will work with both J3 & J4 version and PHP 8 also.

Team are working on it, kindly wait for the new release.
