JA Extension manager errors with php 7.4

Just going to update my site from PHP 7.3 to 7.4 and when I run jaextension manager, I'm getting all these errors. Go back to 7.3 and the errors disappear.

I can only assume that there's to be an update coming out soon ?

Deprecated: Array and string offset access syntax with curly braces is deprecated in /home/xxxxxl/public_html/main/administrator/components/com_jaextmanager/lib/jaupdater/core/php5/json.php on line 161

For now I'll be staying on php 7.3 , but I guess the early adopters of PHP 8 will be wanting this to be fixed. 🙂

Actually these are PHP warning from the current version of PHP installed.
I checked the JAEM with PHP 7.4.19 version on my test site and no error found : http://prntscr.com/130pfb6
Kindly make sure the Error reporting option in your Joomla is set to Default or None ( none to hide all warning and error).

it is still a warning though that only comes up in php 7.4 and not under 7.3

I dare say with PHP 8 hitting more and more servers, that warning may now be a failure under it.

Posted more as a heads up than a real issue. 🙂

I could not see any warning with PHP 7.4 did you checked error report setting as asked in previous post.
Also its not error and would not make any issue in working of extension.
For PHP 8 kindly wait as extension is not ready for it and will be release soon.
