T3 to T4 System Plugin Upgrade for Template

Can I install the T4 System Upgrade over the T3 plugin in a Teline V template site?

T4 is new framework and Teline V is based on T3.
If you want to use a T4 based template to move the site from Teline V to a new template of T4 you can do this.
But if you are checking this for framework upgrade in Teline v , i am afraid its not possible to do as it purely based on T3 and would not work with T4.

I need to use the Alpha and Teline V templates together on the same project but the JCM of Alpha template is not working unless the System Plugin is T4. I need to either upgrade Teline V to T4 or let Alpha use T3, which path do you recommend and ccan help with ?

JA alpha is T4 template. Each template work on it's own framework. There are option in ACM that work only if you set the template as default.
It's not possible to use them like you mentioned.
JA Alpha module will work only with T4 not via T3 and same for Teline V will work with T3.

Not sure if this should be a separate ticket but tried to test the JA_Morgan Template instead (pending you upgrade the Teline V to T4 Framwork) but won't install, can you pls help ?

If this is a new site you have to open a new thread on another template forum.
However the error is not template issue. Please check and set your site root folder tmp folder should be writable.
