On the quick start here; https://www.knoxttdot.com/pat/ the sliding images are all linked to articles. Is it possible to rotate the images without articles attached? So just rotating images.
Base3 Template: Sliding Images
Ninja I see what you're getting at here. I apologize as its possible I was clear. The CSS code will work but it's not what I really want. What I want is to be able to place images in a folder, have the slider use the folder as the source and the text will be based on the name of the image. For instance, "BarBeq.jpg" would output the text "Barbeq" on the image when it slides.
I am cautious that in Joomla in order to have an article image, the 'Article' must first exist and it must exist on a menu as well. I could be wrong in this type of thinking and feel free to correct me but I think now, you have a better idea of what I want to do.

Understood. Will third party extensions compromise the 'responsiveness' of the template?
Is Base3 Template compatible with ZenTools2? ZenTools2 has an image slider where you can slide images from a single directory source I believe.
I am exploring this as a workaround. However, the text is still clickable. So clicking on the image doesn't take you to the article but clicking on the text will. How can I stop that? And if I remove the articles from the menu would the slidding banner still work?
Okay hold for a bit on everything. The settings in the zentools seem to be able to do what I want it to do. Will update you in a bit.
