Artcle date showing only current date

I want do display the latest save date for an article. However, the date shown is always the current date.
Until yesterday the save date was correct in JA University 1.1.6. (When that version was added, in 2017, the problem was present, until JoomlArt fixed it.
Now, having updated the template to 1.1.8, the problem has recurred. It is bizarre that a fix for a problem was not carried forward into later versions of the template.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix the issue?

The issue occurs on several articles, for example, one is titled: on-beers.

There are several such articles, which are combined into a category blog under the menu item 'The Bar'. Each of the articles shown in that 'page' are edited at different dates/times, and the requirement is to show the most recent edit date (and, if possible, time) at the head of each of the articles in the 'page'.

This worked fine under 1.1.6 - after the template had been corrected by yourselves in 2017. When I installed version 1.1.8, the problem you corrected in 2017 recurred.

I've changed the password - the new one is in the fields above.

..index.php/the-bar should show the category blog. There are several articles in that blog, all of them currently show the same last edit date - that is, today's date. They should all have the date of the last edit. (The last one in the right hand column, for example, was last editted on the 1st of May this year.) The category is 'Bar-changes'.

On The bar Menu you have selected the Bar category but there is no article with this name.
Your site article seem appear from custom content.
Can you give some article ID that are showing as all article on your site have same name and in bar category only 3 but on frontend too many. thats not possible as both category are different.

Also submit FTP details of site.

The bar category does indeed use custom content, in that most of the articles for it are drawn in from other categories. My apologies.

Here is a more straightforward example. ..index.php/diary shows one article 'Diary'. It was last modified some days ago, but is showing today's date as the 'Last modified date', at the top of the page.

This problem is exactly the same as was reported back in 2017 when we first started using this template on my friend's site. JoomlArt fixed it then. So I wonder why it has recurred when I updated the template to version 1.1.8. Even if you fix it now, will the same problem occur if I were to update it to 1.1.9?

I will be away all day today, 9th June, and unable to access the web. I will have to try to find out what FTP details you need when I return.
