Friends, I'm having a lot of difficulties configuring this site with the JA_Blockk template
1 - Go to: Politica> click on any article that the featured photo appears at the bottom of the content.
2 - Still in Magazine Layout settings the point: ARTICLE DETAIL PAGE LAYOUT the position: Sidebar-I does not appear.

I have many other doubts, I'll try to solve anything and ask for help again. For now I really wanted to know how to solve the settings I mentioned above.

    1 - On article page of template, it will show title >> introtext >> image of article, however, you did not set the introtext for article so it will consider all text of article as fulltext (this is default behavior of Joomla). I just tried to add a readmore button for above article:

    You can see it's showing properly now.

    2 - In the menu item settings of 'Politica', I see that 'sidebar-l' position in the dropdown list, could you check again?

      I saw it fixed by adding readmore, but how do I add readmore 1 to 1 in 1000+ articles?

      I'm using the Content - Auto Read More plugin that did this automatically, but in the Template it works wrong, see that I activated it!

      How can I do now? I use this plugin in all my projects because it makes it so much easier on a daily basis.

      Point 2 I managed to solve by adding the block in the template that wasn't loaded.

      I really wanted to solve this problem with readmore, a button that I haven't used for years and I've always found it unnecessary in Joomla and it should be there as an option and not as a default.

        I checked that plugin but it seems that this plugin only add readmore link to article only. Could you check with its provider if they can support to add a actual readmore button into article?

        Because our template follows the default behavior of Joomla in which it will retrieve introtext of article to show on frontend like I explained above.

          I see a problem, does the article only display normal with the photo if it has a readmore at the top? this is not standard Joomla!

          This plugin I used and removed was to automatically shorten the texts within the category and not the articles that always displayed normal.

          I want to know how I do it, because all the articles on the site have no readmore.

          How do I normalize the highlighted photo display sequence with the text in the code? No need to put an empty readmore at the top of the article?

          I used JA Good on that site and the default was a readmore for the categories and not the articles, as this Blockk template already removes the characters in the category in the article it doesn't need a readmore.

          by the way, I'm already at a loss because this site is down due to such a small problem.

            I added the readmore to top of article to demonstrate that it will show the introtext of article only. You will need to decide which text above the readmore button (this button separates intro text and full text of article).

            This is default behavior of Joomla article (from Joomla 2.5 as I remember), module or featured blog / category blog page will retrieve the intro text of article to show on frontend.

            As I mentioned, if the plugin can help to place the readmore into article, it'd be good otherwise, you need to insert this button manually.

                I don't want to add readmore in my text, I used it just because of the category, as Blockk already gives me the option of not needing to count characters, the problem is solved, the problem is the default text template open with the photo in the footer for missing an empty readmore at the top.

                The category is ok, the text is not. Look at older templates like Magz I, II and Focus, they all give me the option to use readmore or not and in my older projects I use these templates without any problem with what I see in Blockk.

                But I managed to solve it using a template layout that was good, but a problem appeared in the videos, but I'll make a new topic for you to close this one.
