Hello
I have just tested the registration process and it fails at the first step with 'Invalid token'
I have no idea how long this has been the case - could you please investigate?
Thanks
RG

From what I have read, this is not an uncommon issue but it's not one that I have seen over the years that this site has run. Invalid Token seems to be to do with session security. Jomsocial Registration is handled by the Community module, hence the ticket here
I have tried Firefox and Chrome, I have reset the router and I have disabled the VPN - same issue
I have Opera on tried my Android phone using 4G not WiFi - same issue
It is repeatable at least
I have cleared the Joomla cache - same issue
I have cleared the CDN cache - same issue
I have backed up the site using Akeeba
i have checked the server for disk space issues - all appears well

Hi
Kindly Disable apache's mod_cache
- Disable the server Memcache feature
Also take backup of site and update JomSocial to latest version.
If issue remain same kindly submit the FTP details in edit fields.
Hello Pankaj
I have backed the site up using Akeeba
Joomla is at 3.9.27 build 118, released May 24th 2021
By server Memcache - do you mean Cache setting in Joomla Global configuration -> System?
- if so that is switched off - screenshot attached
I have contacted the hosting company about disabling apache's mod_cache as I think that's above my pay grade but in the mean time I have added the FTP access details to the ticket
The issue remains

Kindly update Jomsocial to latest version.
The latest version 4.7.9 https://www.jomsocial.com/blog
Jomosocial has now been updated from 4.7.8 to 4.7.9
The issue persists
This is the registration screen before the 'invalid token' message showing that there is a redirection to community registration

Hi Yes I got this. Kindly wait till tomorrow so I check with dev team. Possibly it's something from server blocking the request.

Hi,
I've fixed this issue on your site. Kindly check.
You can use this jomsocial package for other sites

Thank you - I can see that the invalid token issue has now gone
Further testing has revealed to two subsequent issues - I will raise them as separate tickets to make it easier for others on the forum to find if they encounter the same problems
Great to see this one fixed
