Image too dark. Module Hero.

Hello, good morning!
I am using JA Alpha Template and I am writing because I have a problem with displaying the main image on the homepage. Any image loaded in the "Hero" module, the template causes it to become too dark. How is it possible to change the brightness of the image?

Add this code in custom css

.acm-hero.style-1:before {display:none;}

It will remove the overlay.

Please, could I know the exact steps to modify the custom? I don't know where it is, I work on the server, so I don't work locally anymore. Where can I find the custom of the Hero module?

I found where to modify the custom.
The overlay is removed, thank you!
Now that the image is brighter, however, I am not able to see the text inside the image anymore because the text is also white. How can I change the color of the text? I would like the text to be written in black.

Open file "/acm/hero/tmpl/style-1.php" in template "ja_alpha".
Find

text-white and change the to other class.

For example : text-black
