Iinstall T4 Framework in a Purity 3 website with T3 Framework?

Forgive my ignorance, but I need to know how to install T4 in a working website.
I have a Purity 3 template with T3.
Is it possible to install T4? Is it going to work with Purity 3?
If not, I will have to start from scratch building a new template in T4?

Hi
T4 is a new framework and work independent. If you will install T4 it will work only for the template that is based on T4.
Purity III is T3 template and does not work on T4.

Ninja Thanks for the quick reply.
So, can T3 and T4 co-exist in a joomla! 3.x installation, so that I can find a template working with T4 and gradually move my website from Purity 3 to a newer one?
Or I have to start from scratch?

Yes you can install a T4 template and start working.
The best way to migrate site on a staging site as this will change the layouts and positions so it is better to start with a staging site.
