Friends of JA this project that uses ja_kidscorner is showing an error with the extra fields.

I saw that it could be in the categories, but everything is set up right.

Let's go to the error: I selected from the templates of extra fields, one for Agenda and one for Courses, when I open it to post the extra fields don't appear, when I edit the article the extra fields appear.

    I got your point but when you create a new article, it's not assigned to any category yet so no extra field (assigned to category) will appear. Only after you save the article to a category, the associated extra field can display. You can test the same with default Joomla template.

      Now my head is in a knot!
      I thought that the layout when selected in the category would already open the extra field when I was going to post some content in that specific category, since the option should load along with the configured layout.
      Now I have a dilemma to solve, the customer has been asking me a lot about it, would you be able to consult advanced support about this limitation?

      I really wanted to solve this.

        I understand that but it's how Joomla works, in which you need to assign article to a category, then the extra fields (assigned to that category) tab will display for that article.

        It's not just on frontend, it works the same in backend.

          I confess that I don't understand this limitation, mainly because JA has several other templates like JA Alpha has the extra fields and it works when loading content to post.

            It should be the same for all templates, I think you may edit so you can see the extra fields tab.

            P/s: I just tested with JA Alpha and it works in the same way.
