Correct Initial text in Category search box

Please see the attached image.
I want to correct the errors in the text that displays in the Category search box. The text tells users what to do but it is grammatically incorrect and I want to correct the grammar or remove the text. This is for the Virtuemart plugin for JA Megafilter.

Please tell me where I can access the text to correct it.

I am still working on the site in a development localhost, on a WAMP server.
I have searched the component, module and plugin files for a solution but cannot find where it is set.

Hi Dawn,

It may come from the language file on your site of JA Megafilter module as I can't see the same text at my end.

Could you put your site online or share me a backup of your site so I can check?

Thank you for your reply and pointing me is the right direction.

I found the key that needed changing COM_JAMEGAFILTER_MULTIPLE_SELECT_PLACEHOLDER in the en-GB.com_jamegafilter.ini file in the site language folder. I have changes the text to 'Filter by category'.
