T4 BS5 Template Features

Hello,

I am hoping for two things in the updated T4 Framework / Blank Template for J4. Where we always run into issues is with header variations and support for the search function.

Could you add a couple new header variations? Namely, we regularly need a "stacked" header similar to what is in the JA Helple template - where the logo is full header height and there are two rows to the right. For example, main menu then top-L, top, top-R above.
Search function. It would be great if the search function "icon" was available as a selectable element. The icon type search that loads a JS driven search field. Like for example in the new template for August 2021. Even better would be if there were settings in template admin to control what clicking the search icon loads. This could be a field that expands, or perhaps a field that appears at top of template as on some sites.

We are at the point of renewing our Ultimate License and these two points are pretty important and regularly take added time when working with T4. Would you guys consider working these into a future update in the near future?

May I know which template are you using?

As its name, T4 Blank template is a base so that you can develop / build up your site from the beginning. The header / search / etc... often depend on the concept of each template. You can submit your question for how to implement it, we will guide you in details of how to achieve it.

Thanks Sagauros - understood. Though, including a couple more default header options with search support will speed development and flexibility along quite a bit. Headers with stacked menus to right of logo is rather popular - especially on corporate sites.
