Issues with T4 System Plugin Version 1.0.6 und later

We are using JA Eventcamp Template and latest Joomla Version 3.9.27.
We have been using the T4 System Plugin Version 1.0.5 and so far all was fine.

But when we install the latest version of T4 System Plugin 1.1.7, there are template issues with the sidebar menu and homepage is somewhat broken. The sidebar menu (off canvas) is always visible and not hidden (default) and cannot be closed (see screenshot)

I tried with lower versions of T4 System Plugin to understand which version introduced the issues first and was able to identify it. The issues started with version 1.0.6 ....

I have then re-installed previous version 1.0.5 and all is fine.

Can you please check and try to find the code that introduced the issues because we want to use latest version of the T4 System Plugin to be up-to-date but cannot use is under current circumstances.

Hi mberwing

In the latest version, we updated the off-canvas a bit. It may cause issue on your site.

You can access backend of your site >> Extensions >> Templates >> edit a template style >> Navigation >> Off-canvas settings and enable menu effect there:

Save and clear all caches.

thanks for your reply and instructions but menu effect was already enabled and I just played a little bit and tried all options but it does not make any difference and the off canvas menu is always visible and cannot be hided.
As stated the issue started with T4 System Plugin 1.0.6 up to 1.1.7 ......so it was not introduced with latest version only as you stated.

I have now re-installed 1.0.5 and all is fine - but this is not the solution.

Now it is even worse.....after revoking back to version 1.0.5, we are now getting:

I have now installed latest available version of T4 System Plugin 1.1.7 and have in summary identified three issues:

1- Off canvas menu is always visible and cannot be hided
2- Advanced Custom Module called ' Countdown ' on section-1 is now partially overlapping with module 'Slideshow Events - Top' on position 'slideshow'
3- Advanced Custom Module called 'Kontakt Information' on section-10 Type Contact Info : style-1

I have provided login credentials for user 'support' with Super User rights

Hi,
sorry for the inconveniences with the login. No idea why access is still not possible.
I have now set backend password with our firewall and tested it and it works fine. So please use just the firewall password first followed by standard Joomla backend - I have updated site admin account details.

I have by the way now uploaded latest T4 System Plugin 1.1.8 and still same issues

mberwing Kindly check the screenshot I sent, the first login requires both username and password, could you share the username also?

saguaros Please first use user 11admin66 and password from admin account details followed by standard Joomla backend credentials documented in admin account details.
I have temporarily disabled country and IP blocking so that there are hopefully no other issues for you.

It still blocked Vietnam's IP, I can use vpn to login 1st step but the 'support' account seems still not working.

This is weird...can you try again with user 'support' and the known password. I have just tested it again and it worked fine for me. But I have reset it and used same password again.

In addition to my reported issues I have noticed that there is even different behavior when using my iPAD compared to iMAC with different Browsers.
While on the iMac the off-canvas menu is always visible and cannot be closed, there is no off-canvas menu at all on the iPad and furthermore there is just the main menu while there are no sub-menu items.

This is very strange.

It looks like the off-canvas element was modified in template on your site: /templates/ja_eventcamp/html/layouts/t4/element/offcanvas-toggle.php

Our developer updated again for you and also updated some style in custom CSS on your site.

It should work fine now.

thanks so much for the great support and help to fix the reported issues.
I was not aware at all about any modifications on offcanvas-toggle.php. The only changes with regard to offcanvas happened as part of https://www.joomlart.com/forums/d/33703-off-canvas-button-not-visible-on-tablet-landscape-and-on-edge and code for custom.css provided by yourself that time.

Anyway, the issue is fixed and I am happy. Just one other issue remains for ACM Module for Countdown which is still not ok after we installed latest T4 System Plugin - but I am going to raise a separate ticket for this one.
