Dear support, I put this post with the wrong TAG since it is not possible to put it with a single "Jomsocial" tag. I really cannot understand why

I'm unable to upload videos on my Jomsocial account: it says that "the video is being processed", but then it gets stuck.
From the backend (Jomsocial -> videos), I can see and reproduce the video, but it has no thumbnail.
I see in the FTP folder that the file is being uploaded into the "originalvideos" folder, but then nothing happens and it fails to elaborate it and move it to "videos" folder.
I see no error in the cPanel log.

To have a better test, I reverted to Protostar template and JomSocial basic theme.
What could it be. The provider already activated the FFMPEG and gave me the path to put in the settings.

    Can you ask the provider to share the FFMPEG version install
    and fix the super user login in Edit fields options. So i can have a look on it.

      I'll let you know as soon as I know the FFMPEG version. They gave me three links to libraries to use. I chose the first one:
      FFMPEG /opt/ffmpeg/bin
      Imagick /usr/bin/convert
      FFprobe /bin/ffprobe

        Kindly ask the version installed and Make sure its installed as PHP module not application.
        You can ask the absolute path of the FFMPEG as well.

            I already had a lot of trouble in the past updating the version. Just to get to the 4.7.3 from the 4.6.2 was an Odissey and required the update one version at a time.
            Now even trying from 4,7.3 to 4.7.4 gets us stuck (see attachments). Do you have any idea? Are there any php requirement or something else?

              Kindly try it with PHP 7.1 Also you should use latest FFMPEG version the link i shared is the FFMPEG supported.
              Let me know if there is issue in upgrade.

                    there is not enough room there. Please login again as superuser in my website backend. You will find there all the instructions.

                    Please, take note of what you change there so that we can replicate that: this is just a clone of the production site for these tests
