miltos
You can update this file: /templates/ja_blockk/html/com_content/article/default.php
by attached file:
Thanks saguaros I will update the file and inform you shortly. Some fields will appear in a box and others in accordion. I need few hours for this. I hope everything is ok. Miltos
miltos Let me know then.
I replaced the default.php file with the new one. I also made a new cf, but the result remains the same. Miltos
The field displays info correctly at my end. Could you put your site online and share the credentials so I can check directly?
Hi again I installed the Blok quikstart for J4 (localhost). Everything is OK. But again there was a problem with joomla custom fields. I display cf by selecting the default positions of joomla or with shortcode (with the joomla button) and there is no problem, everything appears ok. But as soon as I add in the text of the article "read more", then the cf stops appearing and the message comes out: Warning: count (): Parameter must be an array or an object that implements Countable in C: \ xampp \ htdocs \ test. anevenontas.gr \ plugins \ content \ fields \ fields.php on line 97. It is an improvement over the previous version of Blok where cf was not displayed at all via shortcode. But it is impossible to work without "read more". Please see the problem in depth, because cf is already a very strong point of joomla and we delayed the project a bit so we can use the subform field which will greatly simplify our work, but also to have an upgrade which will solve this problem. Miltos
Hi miltos
It's weird as I tried to add custom field with readmore but it displays normally:
Hi again saguaros
I agree that it is very weird. I reinstalled and noticed the following: the problem is created ONLY if you select a layout post where the first paragraph is ABOVE the main image. If the article starts below the image, then the custom field appears normally. There is also another problem (without creating a visible effect at the front end). The articles appears normally (frontend), but the demo articles do not exist in the backend (in Content - articles), but only in future articles and there, the backend layout is broken (see images) and errors appear. I think you should look at it a little more carefully. I do not think it is a problem with xampp because I have installed other quickstarts (J3/4) without any problems. Honestly i do not want to look for another template solution.
These notices due to PHP version only, and actually, it doesn't affect function on your site. You can hide these notices by turning off the Error Reporting in Global Configuration.

Thanks saguaros Yes there is no problem with that. The issue remains with the appearance of custom fields, as I describe above: I agree that it is very weird. I reinstalled and noticed the following: the problem is created ONLY if you select a layout post where the first paragraph is ABOVE the main image. If the article starts below the image, then the custom field appears normally. Miltos
The problem appears in specific single items layout: those where the first paragraph is above the Full Article Image. In the rest there is no problem.
miltos Could you put your site online so I can have a closer look at the settings?
