I think you are not understanding the Meta data.
On any site if you have meta info that include meta description , keywords and page title.
If you changed it today, it will work fine when you share the page to anyone and pick it directly from site code.
On search Engine they not search it directly from your site every time. It is index already by them and when they re index the site URL it will fetch new information.
