Where to put Global site tag (gtag.js) for Google Analytics

Hello, can some one please advice; where to I put the Global site tag (gtag.js) for Google Analytics?

I am using a duplicate version of the T4 Template Blank

You can add the script into the file: /templates/t4_blank_your_template/html/layouts/t4/index.php

If you've not overridden this file yet, you can copy it from base folder in T4 plugin:

/plugins/system/t4/themes/base/html/layouts/t4/index.php

and edit it.
