I am having a difficult time trying to set Beauty Salon as the default .

but I am getting errors such as the ones attached 
Isn't there a simpler way to select the choice like in JA Blockk ?
The way proposed in JA Ergo is just too much effort .

The Menu item saving error shows that you already have a menu item with same name.
So the Joomla can not save 2 menu items with same alias.
Kindly change its Menu alias and it will be saved fine.
About the 403 error the server blocking this. If your site has akeeba admin tools extension install it can be from that or you can ask the hosting provider with this error so they allow to save these pages.

Also You can use T4 section as module style in the layout and save.
about 403 error kindly ask the hosting provider if you are not using any security extension in Joomla .

I am very sorry.The url was wrong.I have corrected it.
Help me set it so I can do the same whenever I use other templates with the same requirements.
I am not familiar with T4 builder etc .Will learn it next year .
