JA Content Slider featured items

With JA Content Slider, is there any way to choose just featured items and/or perhaps only items with embedded article images?

I have K2 articles, some with an embedded article image but I only want those ones picked up by the module on the front page. I also have an extra field called "has pics" that is set to Yes for all items with pics so maybe that can be used as well.

This is quite old module, it doesn't have this kind of option to filter featured items like that unfortunately.

As I can see you're using JA Content Listing also, could you try with this module?

Ok thanks for the reply. Is there a newer module you guys offer that can achieve the same or something similar?

I checked a few but didn't notice the scroll type action.

ciroberts Recently, we have JA Content Listing for news only.

With the slider for news in recent templates, we often use JA ACM module, unfortunately it comes with template, not a stand-alone extension.

Hi,

I checked out JA Content Listing and looked closer and I noticed it does indeed have a scroller template. This works great for me as the client can just choose to make the items featured that should appear in the module. At first it wouldn't load the all the pictures for the listings, just the highlighted ones but I believe it was a caching issue and it is resolved now.

P.S. Maybe add one or two more scroller templates for JA Content listing, that would be awesome I think!
