You can put that image into a box, then change the alignment in Typography section:

You need to be able to center anything without passing trough hoops, making boxes or whatever else.
The left Center Right alignment are always available on ALL other editors I use for years (like JCE) and all the other Drag & Drop builders I test over 2 years now.
With all other builder & JCE, if I put an image, a header, any elements, I do have the possibility right away to center that element
For the “Builders” the trick is that my image, header, whatever I drop is already in its own container, giving me the ability to do any basic alignment without having to create any box.
In JCE, obviously the centering Tool NEVER disappear. When you add an image, text, whatever, JCE add a div or add a inline style (style="text-align: center😉 to the header container....
The moral of the story is — You should ALWAYS have the possibility to center an element in ONE CLICK
