Footer module position - can this split up?

Hello,

Could you please tell me how to split up the 'footer' module position in to 2 or 3 vertical sections. I want to add a contact for, a social media feed & etc.

This feature from the template admin in T3 Blank but JA Space seem to be very restrictive.

If you could point me to some articles I would be grateful.

This template supports 2 special blocks: spotlight-1 and spotlight-2

You can load one of these blocks into the layout of template:

Open file: /templates/ja_space/tpls/default.php
Add this line of code:

<?php $this->loadBlock('spotlight-1') ?>

or:

<?php $this->loadBlock('spotlight-2') ?>

In backend you can configure number of module positions and assign modules there as you wish:
