Change template white -> blank bs5

Hi,

I have a site where I made some changes in the layout on a site joomla 3.
In order to move soon to joomla 4, I want to change the template white template v1.1 -> blank bs5 v1.2.
Can you tell me the best procedure to achieve this quickly?

For details steps. This is not small migration and one click. Do not try it on live site without back or use a staging site first.

I am familiar with this article which I have bookmarked.
For now I have not scheduled the full migration to joomla 4 but does that mean that the migration of the template to bs5 would be automatic?

Now, is it possible to migrate from template template v1.1 => "blank bs5 v1.2" because in template v1.1 I made some changes: layout, settings?
simple with export/import?

Bootstrap 5 is complete different template and you have to change the template to get BS5.

I have to install the new template on the production site and remember the changes made to do it manually: hard!

hdcms I do not understand your last reply. If you change to a new template the customer changes obviously manually done this is normal on web. Also you have to configure the logo, menu setting of new template you will use.

ok I'll try. As editor of the 2 templates, I was hoping for a procedure or an export/import

Two different templates are not import export. you have to configure the template and layouts, logo menu manually.
