It worked. I had originally pasted the code using Joomla editors template manager and it garbled the code. This time I entered it using Cpanel's file manager and it worked. Thank you for your persistence.
On another question how can I update the News Blog template without using the Quick Start. At the moment the site works fine with the current Joomla update (3.10.1) and previously the templates updates were done by the Vertex component. Will there be a version update possible through the Vertex component in time, I am asking because when I did the last Joomla update it gave a warning on the need to update Shape5's modules and templates. I backed up the site and went ahead with the update and all is well, no issues.
