Dropdown menu not working (WordPress 5.9 Vertex framework 4.1.2)

Menu dropdown works once after loading page, but then stops working.

This is a WordPress site, version of WordPress is 5.8. Vertex framework has been updated to version 4.1.2

Theme installed is Charity. I can see some error messages concerning jquery when dropdown stops working:

at s.fn.init.bind (jquery-migrate.min.js?ver=3.3.2:2)
at t.hideSubMenu (s5_flex_menu-min.js:1)

	Please advice me how to repair this menu.

I have added superuser and ftp credentials to the post

Wordpress version is 5.8 btw, not 5.9

To resolve this issue, you can add the following code to the wp-content/themes/s5_charity/vertex/cms_core_functions.php file (under line: 54)

if (!is_admin()) add_action("wp_enqueue_scripts", "my_jquery_enqueue", 11);
function my_jquery_enqueue() {
   wp_deregister_script('jquery');
   wp_register_script('jquery', get_template_directory_uri()."/js/jquery/jquery.min.js", false, null);
   wp_enqueue_script('jquery');
}

At the moment, the theme has conflict with the jquery 3.2 of WordPress 5.8.

As if /js/jquery/jquery.min.js doesn't work
