The formatting of fonts is missing in articles in backend, but displays correctly on site when I use the JCE Editor. For instance, I can select text to be an H1 style, and it will display the same correctly on the front end of the site, but the article editor in the administrator backend of the site just displays regular text.
This is the same for the Preview tab. Formatting is not displayed. This makes it very hard to make sure what I want is what I'm seeing. When I go to the article editor when I first open the article in the backend, it flashes correctly and immediately reverts to no formatting. For instance, an H! tag displays the same as regular text.
This is a site where a special css file, editor.css, was added some months back to fix an issue with Google fonts and the JCE Editor in Joomlart templates. I was told Joomlart would have to fix this since JCE is used by so many other websites in the world.
I've had no trouble through Sept 2 and today, two days later, I have this issue. I had it once before, on another site, and it was resolved by adding a file to the site, but I can't figure out why this would start being a problem now, after I've been working on it since February. The file editor.css is in the /public_html/templates/ja_blockk/css directory.
I have not updated the template in ages because of the adverse effects that I had to deal with the last time I updated the template.
I just want Joomlart and JCE to play well with each. I depend on both of these companies, and don't want to switch to another template company or editor.
Here is an article I was trying to edit:
Frontend of article Perry County Sex Offenders
and here is the link to the administrator side of the article:
Link to administrator editor screen for Perry County Sex Offenders
I'm attaching a screen shot which may help.
I look forward to hearing back from you. This is most puzzling. I've opened a ticket with JCE as well, and will communicate with each of you as to what I'm told to fix this.
Thanks,
Pat
