Using Modules or Blocks

Hi there

In T4 BS5 Footer you are calling in 4 modules in the Quickstart demo. Could that be a BLOCK with the same html as you would normally put in your custom module? What is the benefit of using a module as opposed to a block for this section please?

Footer there are 4 modules on footnav 1 to footnav 4
These are module positions using Menu type module : http://prntscr.com/1rj1njd
There are different layout that are using different module on these positions : http://prntscr.com/1rj1qqh
You can change them based on your site needs.

Yes thanks I'm aware of that. I was after a reasoning behind why would you use a module when you can use a block actually within T4...is there any benefit to calling a module?

I do not understand what you mean by using a block? As module work is done by module both are different things and totally depends on the choice and needs of site.
