How to to update to Creativity 4.0? Where is the release notes?

Hello,

this morning, I got a message from my backend telling me that a version is available for the creativity template. The new version is 4.0 (screenshot #1).

If I try to update, I have an error.

When I do to your wbesite to download the update, the file size is 36 mega bytes. It a full Joomla environment.

So, I have 2 questions for you:
- how to only download the template.
- what is the purpose of that new version. I do not find any release not. Even in the blog, there is no information regarding a potential update.

Please would you tell me what I should Do?

Hi,

I have been able to download the version 4.0 of Creativity for Joomla 3.10. I found a link for the download.

After installing it, I have an error.

Please would you help me to solve that issue?

I updated the fields with information regarding the backend login and the ftp account.

Hi,

I found the problem. It was not related to Creativity template.
It was related to JCH Optimize. I updated the new release and it caused the problem.
Now everything works.

Is it possible to have the new features of that version 4.0 of Creativity?

Glad to hear that you got it solved! In the new version of GK Creativity template, it mostly contains updates for PHP 8 and Joomla 4.

thank you for your reply.
That version works perfectly on my website. I am glad you delivered a version for Joomla 4. I am going to migrate at the beginning of 2022.
I am waiting for the new version of K2. The developper wrote me it will be available at the end of october. Then I need some extension updates from RAXO.

amarguillen We're awaiting for new version of K2 for J4 also, many of our templates use K2 are pending because it's not compatible with J4 yet.
