Banners in Main-Content-1

Greetings:

I am running out of banner space on the right side (Sidebar-1) module space and plan to run some banners across in Main-Content-1; my question is can I somehow split up the Main-Content-1 space to run 2 banners there instead of 1? I know I am getting greedy with banner space, but if I could do that, it would be more beneficial than having 1 large banner running in Main-Content-1 space. See my image which shows how I want to convert the circled banner and somehow have 2 banners in that Main-Content-1 space. Yes, I know I can add as many banner there as needed (and even in Main-Content-2), but if I can have 2 in the same space, that would be great.

Any advise is much appreciated.

Hi timpennington

As the concept of this template, the positions like 'main-content-1' 'main-content-2' will show an additional sidebar on the right, so if you want to show banner fully like your screenshot, you should assign that banner module to another position like 'main-content-mastbot-1' 'main-content-masttop-1', etc....

About the number of banner display, you can configure in banner module settings.

Question: how do I get the banners to be side-by-side and not stacked on top of each other?

Meaning, have them horizontally across instead of vertical?

timpennington I don't see these banners on your site now, maybe you unpublished the module?

I added it back on; I placed it at "'main-content-3" to put it at the bottom of the page so it is not as noticable, but would move it to #1 if we can work it out

    float: left;
    margin-right: 30px;
}

Do you know what the "widest" each banner could be in the CSS rule you gave me above? I want to give them the widest banner. Tried 350 and it was a tad too wide and stacked them.

350 should still work well, you can add again and show it on frontend, I will check for you.

I made it 350 wide, but it seems to stack.

I placed it in Main-Content-3 to put it at the bottom of the p[age to hide it while I fix.
