Getting started with T4

Absolute beginner with T4 here. I'd like to try it out on a new Joomla 4 installation but am unsure just which files to install.

Does the framework include a template and the plugin or are those installed separately?

I assume Blank Template Bs5 includes Bootstrap 5 - what version of Bootstrap is the other Blank Template using? What about the Extension Manager Component? Is that optional or required?

I used T3 framework until a few years ago when I closed down my websites but I am about to re-open up again.
You WILL need T4 Framework for Joomla4, assuming you are using Joomla 4! T4 System plugin and JA Extension Manager component as base.
You can install the templates to check them out and can always delete them if you do not like them. I always keep a basic one on hand for emergency 🙂
If you want an all singing, all dancing template then go for PurityIII. I did some pretty nifty stuff using their ver3, and now they have ver 4 for Joomla 4 that is the way I will go. Oh, and its FREE to use.
