Fullscreen background video in homepage

Hi, is it possible to have a fullscreen video background with JA Stark? I try to put a video instead of picture, but there are no module positions that go on fullscreen. I have seen also this thread https://www.joomlart.com/forums/d/37541-video-in-nero-ja-starck but I can't understand how to do. Thank you for your help.

Kindly publish the modules as give in the documentation here : https://www.joomlart.com/documentation/joomla-templates/ja-stark#home
to get same view as demo site. The video is not for BG it work when you click on the button.

i think he is asking about setting the video as an overlay on the hero section, as it only shows up as a 150x150 when u set the overlay to video, i'm also interested how i could add it as a full screen video.

When you set an overlay video, you can add this custom CSS:

.bg-overlay-vid {
    height: 100%;
}

and let me know how it goes.

I think it's from your youtube video which has width of 1644px for now so it has black sides.

Have the same issue with black borders.

You can try this custom css and adjust the value as needed:

i now still wondering why the autoplay feature which is used in the video url won't work?
do i made some mistake while applying the workaround for youtube video i found here at the forum?

The autoplay is disabled in browsers so in this case, you need to mute the video.

I updated this file on your site: /templates/ja_stark/html/layouts/t4/layout/section.php

to set the param: mute=1
