JomSocial is the oldest Joomla social community extension with a the biggest community and it has the powerful features. about the cart system i can not see it in a community extension yet as it is done by 3rd party extensions and u can still use any extension on site , Integration is depend on the extension side.
About the customizations can u share email that u used to send request so i can check if its not replied.
