Please provide an update. Not keeping folk informed leads to very unhappy clients, keeping them updated even with bad news means they will be more tolerant of the problem and understand you are doing your best to fix things. Any news is much better than no news.......

I hope that someday JA Page Builder will be functional again.

As a temporary solution I have just converted the JA Builder based websites to static HTML and started to edit the code manually. You can also get the code of a page built with JA Page Builder, create a new joomla's article, insert the code in the article (be sure that the editor is disabled for your user) and then assign the article you've just created to the corresponding menu item.

We have lots of pages that don't need mods but do need to be edited in future - what good will it do to copy from the database / content field, then paste the same code back - sounds illogical and seems there should be a better way. Are you just trying to get an updated date > 8th Oct?

Following the link to clone the pages just goes to the forum home rather than some specific fix request - this is not the most helpful!

JA Builder is still not working - I created a new page but when I went to edit I got the same message as trying to edit an older page - "Your page edit is empty? That is a notice to make sure, users do not save the old pages as it could lead to the data lost. For the new page, kindly close it and do update.

I created a new page - closed the message - added content and published - seemed to be OK - pressed the edit button and got the same message - the message seems to be there all of the time even on new pages - so how do we know if data is going to be saved or not? Manit

Followed the instructions as best I could and used PHPMyAdmin to mod the content of a test page - still got the same message that the page is empty.... Manit

With the pages you built before, kindly do the content update manually in the database. You should not use the edit page tool.

I am sorry about the late update. I should be responsible to give you more regular update, I got stuck with the workload to fix the server issue.

I am working with the team on an update version, we plan to provide update html markup in the page builder, instead of accessing the database. It could be helpful for users who want to update content only.

All we want is to be able to edit the pages whenever the need arises - I am happy to open each page and publish as long as I know the data will be saved, but the empty page warning is off putting.....Manit

Manit Sounds like what we need ie a tool that let's us select each page and without making any changes have your database updated so that later on we can edit the pages as we did before the server update - is this the idea and when might it be available?

Hi,

We are the loyal and paying Joomlart customers for a long time. JA builder is the perfect tool. I think now, when the main service is up you have to think about the ways how to easy recover the "old page".

I see 2 ways:
- rebuild every page manualy from scratch
- import existing "old" pages and creat new ones

The second option is definetly easier. Maybe there is a way to do that?

Or any other options.

BY THE WAY: T4 Builder is using the same principles? When your serves is down we can loose everything like with JA Builder.

Looking forward to possible solution from your side.

T4 Page builder is not using the principle, all data is stored in your website database.
About the options to fix the issue, I am working with the Dev team to see if we can find ways to fix the issue. Thank you for your suggestions, I will send the team your suggestions.

Manit : Are you guys trying to recover the data ? Am I thinking right that you guys working to make sure the pages we created before 8th October will be fine ?
